While regular or Swedish massage is often used for relaxation, medical massage/soft tissue work is an advanced therapeutic approach focused on treating specific health conditions. It involves specialized techniques to address the underlying causes of pain, inflammation, or dysfunction, and may be part of a treatment plan alongside other healthcare professionals. We accept out of pocket only even if we’re working alongside other healthcare professionals.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
We work with many healthcare professionals and any healthcare professional may refer you to us. However, a referral is not necessary. If you would like us to be in collaboration with a certain healthcare professional, we may certainly do that. You as well as a referral can also help guide us to address your specific medical condition more effectively.
Is this massage covered by insurance?
It is rare that massage therapists accept insurance. We do not accept insurance either.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
For each complaint of pain give us 3 sessions extremely close by each other, perhaps one week apart from each other, to see if there is any improvement during that time frame.
